About Bryant

I'm Dr. Bryant Ward, a native of North Carolina. I am a husband and father of four. I’m a son and a grandson. I understand the importance of family and well-being.

I am trained and board certified in Family Medicine. I bring a wealth of knowledge and expertise to the table. My dedication to helping others took my family and I overseas as a medical missionaries. There I had the privilege of serving people among the neediest in the world and to learn new ways of delivering care.

For the past several years I worked as a hospitalist in Boone at Watauga Medical Center. I gained valuable experience in providing acute care and understanding how to efficiently utilize the resources of our local and regional healthcare system.

Whereas hospital medicine responds to an acute onset or worsening of a disease, Valle Health was borne out of my desire to focus on a return to and maintenance of health, with an eye to achieving longevity.

I am also actively pursuing a functional medicine certification to complement my allopathic training. I stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in the field and I am genuinely excited to be a part of your healthcare journey. I look forward to assisting you in achieving your health goals.
